Relative Time Dimensions - not building 1

I have just added relative time dimensions to a new cube model so that it matches other production cubes about similar data.

The usual stuff, YTD, MTD, some customs. The set is identical to other working cubes, and I paid careful attention to building them the same way, having the models for the new and one of the old cubes open at the same time.

But they don't appear, either in a desktop build viewed by Powerplay Client, or in the test cube built on our Unix server and viewed via Upfront. All that appears are the normal drill-down categories.

Is there perhaps a setting somewhere that disables these special categories of relative time, that I have left un/checked?

I am using Transformer 7.0

regards,

Do you have a source which "Sets the current period" ??

Data Source box , then Source Property , General Tab , tick "Sets the current Period"

If you have one source with this on, is the date field having exactly the same typo as the date field populating your time dimension ?

Oh yeah, Draoued is right, if the last data source of those that have the "Sets current period" has invalid date data (like an empty value on some row), you end up where you did. Just had this problem.

Cheers
