Is there a general feeling about the relative latencies and performance between site to site connectivity using a site to site VPN or using a Cisco VPN Client and a 3000 concentrator?

Would the Client method be an accurate way to simulate the latency that we would expect to see if we configured a site to site VPN?

Yes. I find that using the same ISP at each end greatly helps VPN latencies. If not, you may find that the peering points move your data all over the continent.

Do a trace route, that will tell how bad it will be.

I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.
