relative hyperlink

When I edit a Word document in Livelink and apply a relative hyperlink, i.e., /livelink/llisapi.dll?func=ll&objId=123456&objAction=open, it works. But if the Word document is edited on a local computer and this hyperlink is applied, then the Word document is uploaded to Livelink, the hyperlink does not work throwing an error 404: page cannot be found.

Any suggestions?

is the URL in both cases the same in the browser ?

No...if the hyperlink is applied to the document in Livelink - then renditioned, the url:

http://p48livelinktest.cookgroup.na...P02_test_12_2009.pdf?nodeid=1011711&vernum=-2

If applied in the document on a local network drive/computer - then the document is uploaded to Livelink and renditioned, the url:

http://www.mybrowserbar.com/cgi/err...4125C9D65422&ccv=128&cnid=135963&cco=US&ct=11

Thanks so much!!!!!

I did as you suggested. I found one toolbar in add/remove programs that once removed; I can apply relative hyperlinks to the documents on a local computer/network drive, upload the document into Livelink and everything works!
