Relationships - primary keys

Hello,

Why is it not recommended to create a relationship between two or more primary fields? That is, why is it bad to relate a primary field in one table to a primary field in another table?

This is the standard way (IMHO) for a one-to-one relationship.

PHV is correct. Using a one-to-one relationship is not used often, but the typical example would be an HR table where you want to separate public and private information,
