Hi everyone,
I have a database containing 3 tables, lets call them tblA, tblB and tblC. The PK in tblA is the SK in tblB and the PK in tlbB is the SK in tblC. The database is split into front end and back end because there are a number of users. The BE sits on the LAN and the FE sits on each persons desktops. The data is entered in through a form/subfrm/subsubfrm scenario but for some reason the relationship between tblA and tlbB doesn't work all the time i.e. intermitently the SK value for tblB gets left blank and therefore the data in the subfrm is no longer viewable when you go back to it. The really strange thing is that this never happens with the SK in tblC! It only happens every once in the while and I have checked all the relationships etc and I have referential inegrity switched on!!

Could the problem be that I have set up the relationships in the FE rather than the BE? Even so why does it work sometimes and not others. I have also tried importing all objects in to a new DB but to no avail. Any help would really be appreciated.

Thanks,

GPM

Hi everyone,
I'm still having this problem and I was just wondering if anyone had had any thoughts on this?

Thanks
