Rel 8 ringing issue to vm

Have a new R8 with the vm pcmci card....default outside lines ring the VM auto attendant....cant find where to stop it.

Also cant get admin to work....lan cable to 335af adptor to serial port....set system password via station 10. No joy commecting.

Any help....thanks

Lines are assigned to the Auto Attendant in #206-7-LL-1. Set it to 2 to unassign.

It may also be that you didn't put 78 and 79 in hunt group 7, and it's not really the auto attendant that's answering.

As to the admin - you can test your cable setup by plugging into the SMDR port, hyperterminal at 1200-N-8-1, and see if you get a dump of the last few calls. If so, remember that the PC admin software only allows Com 1 or 2 for connection.
