Hey all,

Well, we have a machine running Win2K (upgrade from NT) and we have several programs that are having problems due to the fact that it is not an OEM installation. My question then becomes, is there anyway that I can install the OEM version over the upgrade version to prevent having to f-disk the C: drive, or do I have to tear the machine down and build it back up?
Second question, how do I make a backup of the Hard Drive setup (stripe sets are involved) in Win2K. I can't seem to figure it out. Any help with either question would be appreciated. Thanks.

I am not sure how to do the second question. But the first one here goes. Did you try to do a repair instead with the OEM CD? I have not tried it so I am curious. If that did not work, you dont have to f-disk. Just install the OEM into the \WINNT folder where the other Win2K files are. It will delete the folder and recreate it then install the files. You dont loose info but you will have to reinstall programs. James Collins
