Reinstalling vs licensing

Hi!

We will retire an old MF 1.8 server and set up a new one with better hardware.. how can I do this and use the same license?

The machine has:

15 Base MF 1.8 For Windows
10 Citrix User License Pack
5 WinFrame User License Pack

and I would be very happy if I could reuse these on the new server (the new one will also be a TS4 MF 1.8 server - identical with the old one part from better hardware)!

I suppose I have to contact Citrix, right? Anything else?

and then reactivate the same license on the new server.. right?

Sounds good.
They get funny about it if you reactivate more than once or twice. Not applicable to this issue but thats why you make good use of the grace period before activating, incase you have to rebuild.

There is a hack out there that after you activate the original license 15 users. You can add additional license. I wouldn't try it at the office maybe in your lan at home.
