We have a few laptop users who have Office XP on their machines instead of the standard 2000. One of the laptops is acting up, so I am wanting to reinstall Windows and then all the apps (a previous IT person did the oringal setup, and there are so many things messed up it'll be easier this way). My question is about the licensing. If I reinstall Office XP, it'll ask for a registration. I've always worked with earlier versions of Office - up through 2000, so I haven't had to go through this process before. Is there something I should do BEFORE I take Office off of this machine so that I can just reinstall and enter a registration number? I'm guessing just entering the OEM number isn't enough.
