Hi All,

I am wondering if by running the following command if I first need to do the reg-edit that is on the microsoft website or if it is not required with this command?

Put Windows XP CD into the CD Drive
Start > run >
rundll32.exe setupapi,InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 132 c:\windows\inf\ie.inf

The reg edit I am unsure if needed is to change this key to 0

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Active Setup\Installed Components\{89820200-ECBD-11cf-8B85-00AA005B4383}

Another question regarding this - does it need to be an actual windows xp cd or could it be a restore cd if it came from an OEM??

Thanks
