Reinstalling ARCServe 9.01

I reinstalled ArcServe 9.01 and I installed again. Now as I am putting the tape, I want to restore data by Sesion,I select the tape and I Don't see any data on the tape
Why ??

Run a merge job, this will fill up the database with specific file information from the tape cartridge(s).
Reinstalling ARCserve starts from scratch ie. the database is empty.
Merge jobs can be started from the utilities menu.
