I was wondering if there is a way that I can do a clean install of ArcServe 2000 and not loose our database of the backups we have already done. How can this be accomplished and are there any other files I might want to move off to the side that I need?

Hi there,

Just copy the database folder out of arcserve onto your desktop, uninstall the sofware and reinstall and then copy the database files back into the new arcserve database folder.

I had to do that as well..here is what there tech support wrote:

Hi Jeff,
Please copy the database folder and uninstall ARCserve. Reinstall and
apply the sp3.

Thank You
