Still having problems with no ability to shutdown, restart or log off of my 2k server after Uninstalling Veritas backup exec 8.5. (problem appeared after I installed) Anyway, I have heard that if I reinstall my 2k server service pack (sp-3) overtop of my existing service pack sp-3, it will correct any corrupted dll's etc from the veritas install and should put the system back to where it was before I installed the veritas backup program. Anyone heard of doing this?
Also still trying to find out what the h' version of veritas backup exec to buy as their most stable..I do like the program. They do not have much info out there about there bugs and my 2k server backup util is just not stable enough to rely on. Stuck between the 2!
