Reinstall Precautions?

Hi,
I'm a beginner at this...
I was near the end of finishing my UltraDev project and I just started getting an error message when trying to create a recordset that says "while executing applyserver behavior in Recordset, a JavaScript error occured".

I've read here that others have done a reinstall of Ultradev. What precautions should I take before I do this, so I don't lose anything? Or better yet..any other ideas on how to fix this problem?

This seems to be an ongoing problem, including with MX2004. Reinstalling is the only thing I have found to solve it...as recently as this week...

Make sure you export your sites and have copies of any extensions. You will lose the installed extensions for sure, but the sites should be OK.

There was a utility around to export all DW registry settings. Haven't seen it for a while though (big help I am). Or youcan have a look at this
