Reinstall of ArcServe 9

I am have a load of problems with Arcserve 9 and I and going to uninstall then reinstall

Can you tell me what files I should copy before I uninstall?
and will it be a simple task of moving the current database folder back into the new Empty dadabase folder after the reinstall ?

I always work on the principal that if you're going to do an install, do a clean one. At least this way you don,t run the risk of carrying problems from your old installation to the new one.

The main drawback, I suppose, is that you have to recreate any backup jobs. Also, if you need to do a restore you will have to merge in the tape details first.

yes db folder can be moved back, jobs can be saved to disk.
