Reinstall Failing

It appears as though a malicious worker who was being fired uninstalled Norton Antivirus on the frontdesk computer and deposited viruses before leaving. I removed the hard drive and cleaned the viruses as a slave, but Norton would not allow a reinstall of the software due to its registry based tricks. There was time left on the subscription until November. How do I fix this problem?
If I do not get some way by Tomorrow I will be suggesting Trend PC Cillan. They give you a free phone number and answer the phone when you call them for installation problems.

I deal more with the corporate version, which has features such as a globally controlled uninstall password to keep this kind of thing from happening. In such an environment, the drive would be formatted to prevent any other possible security breaches caused by the worker.
