Reinstal win xp - slow down

Afte i had some problems, i re-installed win XP over the existing configuration.
Now everythin seems to work but my system is very slow.

what can caus this problem ?

Make sure that you visit the websites for all the manufacturers of your PC components i.e. Motherboard, graphics card, sound card etc... and make sure that you download the latest drivers and apply them.
