Regular text in flash into a link ??

can you turn a piece of selected regular text into a link, without having to create it into a button??

Yep! With static text, highlight the word (or words) on stage and type in the full url (including the in the URL box (Bottom most one... Chain like icon...) in the text's properties.

If the text is dynamic, the html tab (<>) has to be enabled to activate the URL box.
