Hi Everyone!
Does anyone know how to write a Regular Expression for E.164 number formatting? Here's my scenario...
I want to force all my users to put their phone numbers into our AD self service tool in the proper E.164 format that Avaya keeps telling me that I need to make our UC tools work (Avaya One-X Suite).
My user base is not going to do it right, I know. They will do maybe a +1-973-357-xxxx or maybe a +1 (973)-342-xxxx, or some other format. Even if I send a postmaster and tell them the format, they will do it wrong.
So I need to enter a regular expression that will translate any number that they enter and force it into the Avaya format (E.164). So it should look like +countrycodesubscribernumber, or +1xxxxxxxxxx for a US number. Anyone knwo how to do this? I know nothering of regular expressions and just hear the term for the first time a few weeks ago. Thanks!!!
