Registrycheck if ActiveX dll is installed properly

Hello everybody,
i guess there is no Windows API function to check for installed ActiveX dll's in the registry. Do I have to do it manually by searching through the registry? If yes, what keys do I have to check for an ActiveX dll installed with the DllRegisterServer function.

Check carefully CLSIDfromProgID and ProgIDfromCLSID in the COM API.
