If I remove a registry of an old print share, will I have to reboot the server or will an NBTStat-A surfice ? I an trying to install a network printer and get message "Share already in use" The sharename was used before but was deleted hence the entry in the reg. I have stop and started to print spooler but no luck.

Try restarting the server service. I think the server service is what handles all sharing.
