Anyone know what the registry key is for setting default fonts is for windows XP?

Have a look around here in XP.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Fonts

Try a little app called 'RegShot' to snapshot before and after views of the registry.
Create your 'before shot' - change a font - then create you 'after' shot and compare, you'll be able to see what has changed and where in the registry. All this is done within the app itself so it's pretty straight forward. [smile]
