Hello,

First of all, I'm really new with registry stuff, it all looks really complecated so all I really want is:the fast way in, do my stuff and let it for what it is.

Here it goes:
in the registry,I need to get the name of the program in

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT
|
CLSID
|
(7A8A99D9-0B06-11D4-B9E3-0060677-45704)
|
PROGID

and there I'll find the name of component, thats what I want. It should go in a VB6 variable.

Is there an easy newbie way to do this ?
Please go easy on me with the explanations.
Thanks,
The Muppeteer.
