Registry Modification for "save as" dialog

Hi all,
If you run an application and click save as, the save dialog is displayed. Along the left hand side is a list of icons for history, desktop, my documents etc. This seems to be the same for most save as dialogs. Is it possible to customise this list by modifying the registry? I'd like to put in a link to my download directory, rather than having to search for it every time I download something.

Think its application dependent - and presumably not opening all downloads with same app. How about putting your download folder into favorites - then its quickly available from explorer.
