I have an InstallShield installer which checks the currently-installed Windows NT service pack level before proceeding to install. Does anyone know where the installer is likely to look for this information? I need to know because I've just upgraded to WinXP SP1 and now my installer says my service pack level is too low to allow installation to continue. I'm really looking for a short-term work-around.

You can find it in the registy. At:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion under the String Value "CDSVersion"
Will this help. James Collins
