Hey All,
Have a corperate network here with about 60 pc's. Majority run Office 2000 but some run 2003. The problem is that if a new user logs into a workstation for the first time, office has a cry and wants the CD. So we need to get the CD, walk down there and wait for it to finish. Problem is then fixed. What I want to do is change the cd path so when it looks for the cd, it looks on our server. Hence no need to walk down to the room.
I figure I could just change a registry key, and have it imported on logon. Problem is that I dont know if this will affect our 2003 installs which work fine.
PLEASE HELP!!!
Thanks Heaps,
Nick Brown
