Windows 95, I deleted old files, now I have registery file error and evidently no registery file back up, I cant get to my desktop even in safe mode..what can I do? Please help!

Not good...You've no choice but to reinstall Windows. :-(
Some of those "old files" might have included important components of Windows. :-(

The more I work with Windows, the more I dislike Microsoft... and I never have really liked Microsoft to begin with.

Virgina, you won't have to reformat your hard drive. Just get your Start-up disk and re-install Windows 95. There may just be a possibility that some of the programs you might have installed may function but if not just re-install your applications again. Other than that, there's not much else you can do except install Windows again.
