Registering with Business Objects

I have, in my hot little hands, a 1 License copy of "Crystal Reports XI Developer Full Product" which I have not yet registered or installed.

Before I decide which of several computers which I use for Crystal Reports creation to install it on I would like to know:

Can I install it on more than one computer (at the very least I would like to have it on a desktop and a laptop)?

Will it be easy to move it from one computer to another as my hardware changes??

Legally, you can install it one one machine, I think.

As for *moving* it, why would you attempt to move it if you have the CD? Just install it on the new machine, after, of course, you uninstall it from the other machine, one would NEVER think of violating the licensing...

Since you have only one license, I'd choose the desktop.

Well, legality aside, will it install on two computers? After all, I can only use one at a time........

In fact, you can upload it to illegal file sharing sites and give away your serial number and everyone on earth could then...

However, only the PC that was registered will be privy to the updates that are currently only available online via the Start Page.

OK, thanks to all. I just have to decide which computer I use (desktop/laptop at home - desktop/laptop at work, plus a tablet) will be the "official" install.

One more question:

I will have to continue doing most of my development using Crystal Reports 8.5 (until the vendor upgrades our LIMS system).

Will I be able to have both versions installed on one computer??
