Hi, this is a follow up to thread818-1321124, where the person is experiencing problems when adding new pages to a InDesign document that contains multiple master pages. The pages shift when you add a new page. I have been researching the problem for a couple days and can't figure out a problem. Is there someone at Adobe that can answer this question, or maybe a book to purchase that explains multiple pages in more detail? I am pulling the last of my hair out over this. Maybe I have to start building my document from scratch. That is the last resort. Does anyone have any advice?

Having dealt with InDesign for over 3 years now and I have many documents with loads of master pages, I have never heard the likes of this before.

I will stick my neck out and say it's not something that InDesign is doing, it's person who's using InDesign.

As my dad always says, it's not a car that is dangerous, it's the nut on the steering wheel.

Anyway, all joking aside, I believe I can help you. But I need more information.

Can you find a site that will host your file so I can download it, or a sample of the problem and instructions on how to recreate this problem.

I feel it's one of these things that just need to be looked at in order to really help you.

If you can use a site like I will figure out your problem and report back here with how to fix it.

I am currently using CS3, but I have C2 and I'm on windows. Not that it makes any difference. If you want you can send me a .inx file, using File>Export>Adobe Interchange File

I would be delighted to be able to help you.
