Can i use the name anchor for ASP files

if it is just html it works fine

<DT>Web client
<DD>see <A HREF=&quot;#gl.browser&quot;>browser</A>

Meanwhile, the markup for the &quot;browser&quot; entry would be:

<DT><A NAME=&quot;gl.browser&quot;>browser</A>
<DD>A program which is used to access the Web.

but

will the same work for asp file
