I also noticed that the event being a file-based event has the filename as the name all by itself eg "FDT_AssetFlows_Sttms_Complete.txt"

Shouldn't it be absolute path to the file that the Event Server should look for (for example, C:\folder\filename, or /home/folder/filename). The drive and directory specified must be visible to the Event Server. Ideally, the directory should be on a local drive.

I looked at another report that runs successfully daily with file-based events. The filename field in this case is
d:\flags\GE_PMG_Prod_Complete.txt.

Could this be the main cause? Maybe the event is not kicking off at all. The admin could have set it up improperly.

Thanks in advance
