I am currently setting up a DLC to cover our QCC. For backup of the DLC, I have a group that will cover the QCC when the DLC operator is either not in, or is using the QCC console. Here are the scenarios:

1. Call comes in. QCC op unable to answer, DLC op answers.

2. Call comes in, QCC op unable to answer, DLC op unable to answer, coverage group answers.

Best case would have a short ring delay (2 rings) between QCC to DLC coverage, then another short delay between DLC and group coverage.

What's the easiest way to do this?

Merlin Magix R1.0 /V6.0

you cannot cover a QCC operator. I have never combined QCC and DLC, so I am not really sure if it works. If you can use just DLC positions, then you can delay cover the DLC positions at other phones, up to 8 I think.

The easiest way???

Get rid of the QCC !

Do you have to have it would be the first question I would ask.

If you do, then make your 2nd console a QCC as well.

I HATE QCC's (Oh wait, I have said that before.....)
