Hi :->,

Good Day!

I bought a new TV Pixelview Pro TV tuner card(PV-BT878P+). When I connected it to my PC with all the instructions given as per the manual(also looped the "Audio Out" port of this TV tuner card to the "Line In" port of my 32 bit Yamaha make sound card as per the manual instruction), I'm getting only the video, not the AUDIO.

But, when I connect the PC speaker pin directly to the TV tuner card(after removing the PC speaker pin from sound card), I get audio. But in this, I can't hear any audio songs stored in my PC. :-(

Also, when I see TV in the full screen mode in my PC, I see white patching in the video whenever there is some movement in the picture(but I don't see any patching when I play a CD movie).

I have SIS 6326 make AGP card. The TV tuner card's drivers are properly installed. The dealer is in not in a position to help me.

If anyone could please help me in solving the problem, I would be very grateful...

Thanks in advance... Bye bye, Have a great time!

Regards,
Zib

I had similar problems with no sound and fixed it as follows:
Open up the panel that controls the volume. In my system there is a little speaker on the bottom right of my system tray; click on it. If not - START - SETTINGS - CONTROL PANEL and open audio component (mine is called Phillips Seismic Edge Audio). Open the Volume Control. Click OPTIONS PROPERITES and make sure all the volume controls are checked. Click OK. Make sure none of the controls have the MUTE box checked. Hope this helps.
