Refreshing Visualizations

I would like to know whether following requirement can be met by Cognos Products :

A user is viewing the Visualization and the powercube on which the visualization is based got refreshed on the background. Can the visualization be refreshed automatically on happening of this event ?

If not, is it possible to send any noticecast alerts to the user (only to those users who are using the visualizations based on the refreshed cube) ?
