I have developed an Access app for use by colleagues which connects to a back-end Access data-base from both Win9X and Win2k platforms running Access 97 and 2000 respectively(Hence the split). I have allowed my colleagues to update some internal tables through a maintenance option using the line "DoCmd.OpenForm stTableName" where stTableName is a string selected from a list. I have recently added new columns to one of these tables, but although 2Xclickiing on the link shows the table as it now is, the above "DoCmd..." still shows the oringinal table design. I have tried deleting and recreating the link without success. Whats going on and how do I fix it?

DoCmd.OpenForm stTableName
So, you have forms with same name than tables ?
You have to modify the forms to take care of the new columns, I guess.

Hope This Helps, PH.

I'm an idiot - I'd completely forgotten that I'd created forms - I thought I'd been able to display the tables directly this way. Sorry for the waste of time!
