Hello!
In our company we have DELL PowerEdges running Windows 2000 Server. The onboard VGA-Adapter is an ATI Rage XL PCI.
After installing the driver and configuring the right settings (1024*768, 85 Hz) all is fine, but after restart the max refresh rate is set back to 60 Hz (not in the display modes of the adapter but in the advanced properties of the driver).
We're using a KVM-Switch to manage our Servers. It's an Avocent Cybex SwitchView OSD 8-Ports.
If I plug the screen directly to one of the server no changes will be made after reboot.
It's like the information of the screen can't pass the KVM-Switch.
Does someone have an idea how to prevent Windows (or the driver) from detecting the screen?
Thanx!
