I have generated a few CR10 reports that need to run every day. The one bad issue is the time it takes to run "Refresh" the data every morning. I have scheduling software that can open the reports overnight but I don't know how to setup the reports to refresh upon opening so I can just write out the PDF's in the morning and email the reports. My reports run off of SQL2000 and run about 30 minutes each. Is this possible without Crystal Enterprise?

You'll probably have to write a program that will do this. How it gets done will depend on the programming language you use, but there are fairly easy SDK's for most common languages.

A computer only does what you actually told it to do - not what you thought you told it to do.

Stating "scheduling software" isn't very meaningful, post what software you have and it's version.

A report generally isn't opened from schedulign software, it is executed, and exporting is a common requirement. If you state what you have, there may be a way to use your existing software to accomplish this. I've even seen people use a freebie macro recording software and a scheduler program to handle this.

Ido's software <post above> receives rave reviews, and there are many other products that should work for you as well.
