Refresh on Backup Exec

I'm fairly new to Backup Exec 9.1 so any refresh and tips would be greatly appreciated. If I am re-using 2 tapes from the 'Full Backups' Media Set and after importing/inventorying the tapes, I see the details for these tapes as 'Not appendable' and Overwrite Protected until 6/3/2006 and 4/8/2006. If I have a Full backup job this Friday night 4/7/2006, will it still overwrite to these tapes?

Also, I would like to setup 4 tapes as differential backups for Mon-Thurs and 2 tapes for full backups on Friday. What is the best way to go about this? In the Devices detail, I currently see one differential tape detail as 'Infinite-Allow Appendable' does this mean it will write to this tape forever? Thank you for any help.
