Hi. I know how to CreateObject and GetObject OK, and I can do a Requery and Refresh in a second front end form when I make a change in the first one. However, I do not want to be opening the second front end myself. I only want to do the Requery and Refresh when someone else already has the form in the second front end open. How do I set this up?

That is not a bad idea, but is there any way if I can detect that another Access front end is open from my front end? I would like to refresh the other front end based on whether no not I make changes in the data showing on my front end.

Honestly, dhookom's idea will work best by far for your scenario. If the timer event is alwasy checking, and sees no changes, then it does nothing. If you try to refresh a separate front-end from your front end when you make a change, there's more risk of issues arising out that scenario.
