Hi I was attempting to put a new table in my db. We I try to inforce referential integrity I get an error message that another user or process is using the table and to wait until they close. Only problem is that their are no other users or process open. It is a multi user db with workgroups. I have full rights and owner of the db. Could it be a locking problem. Or I did copy the db to a differnt drive and renamed it to test on, it is closed but could there be a conflict?

Thanks for any suggestions.
Liz

Are you absolutely sure there was no query/form/report/running code that used (even remotely) that table?

If yes, you're facing a corruption problem and you need to compact/repair/decompile the project
