Can I create a class or object that refers to a non Windows application??? If so, How??? I have a terminal emulation program (CRT 4.0) that I want to drive from a VB script.

Are you sure CRT 4 is a non-windows application? The documentation suggests:

"32-bit Windows® application: CRT was built as a 32-bit application from the ground up. CRT is supported under Windows XP, 2000, Me, 98, NT® 4.0, 95."

I believe the application provides Window, Session and Screen objects that you can drive directly from VB
