Hi

When I set an appointment for another user, which I have editors access to, sometimes (but not everytime) I have to set future followup appointments (eg. 3 months later, 6 months later, etc).

In my mind the best and quickest way is to create a button, attach a macro to reference the selected appointment and create the relevant appointments. However, I can't work out how to reference the selected or current appointment item. Can anyone help or suggest a better way than I suggested?

Thanks

If you have the appointment "open" in a window.

Code:
activeinspector.CurrentItem.start

Thanks, that's great. Is there a way to do it if the 'item' is not open but highlighted?

Also, is there a way to query which shared calendar the 'item' is residing in?

Thanks again,

If you have a calendar open, and one item is selected:

Code:
application.ActiveExplorer.Selection.Item(1).start

For some starting points on VBA coding for Outlook, you can look here.
