I'm trying to reference a text box from a report in a different report so I can have access calculate the percentage for me. Can anyone help me on this?
I would advise against this. Your "different" report has a recordsource that you should be able to grab your value from to use in your current report.
However, if you can't figure a better method, you might try:
Reports!rptDifferentReport!txtYourTextBox
Thank you dhookom,
I have tried "Reports!rptDifferentReport!txtYourTextBox" but I keep getting an error. The only reason I am trying to do this is because the value that I am trying to reference will be changing daily.
Did you substitute your report and control names for the fake ones I suggested?
Normally, reports don't change data. They display data. I can't imagine what your "different" report is doing that couldn't be done in either a query or code or both.
