I know this is probably the wrong place to ask this, but I am comfortable with this forum, so here goes.

How do I know which of the available references that I am supposed to have checked when I click on Tools, References on the VBA code page.

What makes me ask this is I have been playing around just a little with VBScript and my guess is if I do not know how to set references for VBA, I certainly do not know how to set references for VBScript.

Thanks.

Hi,

The references are to object libraries.

If you complile your code and get an error that reference an object, chances are that you are missing the object library for that object.

If you want to play with vbs in vba, try MSCcriptControl (msscript.ocx, reference to Microsoft Script Control 1.0).
