I have two worksheets. sheet A, cell A1 has stockquote that refreshes every 30 mins. I would like to have the value in A1 to be displayed in sheet B, B1. not just copying the value but the value in B1 updates as well when A1 is updated. Help is really appreciated, thank you!

hi,
cell A1 has stockquote that refreshes every 30 mins
Use the Sheet A Worksheet_Change event.

Skip,

for a NUANCE![tongue]

simply putting "=sheetA!A1" in sheet B, B1 would work but sorry i forgot to mention that i need the vba syntax, thanks

why?

Generally it is best practice to use VBA only when native functionality won't do what you want or is too onerous / prone to error

We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names and all are different colours but they all live in the same box.

Please read FAQ222-2244 before you ask a question

Worksheets("sheetB").Range("A1").Formula = "=sheetA!A1"

Hope This Helps, PH.
