Hi,

I made this report last week and it worked well. We've run several testing of the report and it was working fine. Suddenly when I open the report earlier, it returned this error and the Crystal Reports XI program closed:

"The instruction at "0x005bcb44" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "read""

What seems to be the problem here?

Thanks

Symptom

When opening a Crystal report, the following error message appears:

"The instruction at "......" referenced memory at "......". The memory could not be "read"

This happens only to one report. Other users can open the same report.

Cause

When opening the report from the repository, a copy of that report is downloaded to the user's temp folder. This copy became corrupted.

Resolution
Delete the local copy of the report stored in the temp folder in the user's profile, then open the report from the repository.
