I need to know the active column number I am located in so i can reference it in the macro

Thanks Todd

Hi Todd

If the cursor = on a cell in the column you need use
Code:
ActiveCell.Column

Cheers
Nikki

Bear in mind that this returns the column NUMBER as opposed to the column LETTER so you will need to use the CELLS syntax to reference it rather than the RANGE syntax Rgds
