I have several of the same reports that i run only because the records sources are pointing to different criterias that ask different types of questions. Instead of the report referencing to the query..is it possible to make a button reference to a module that will open the report with the info on the module? I was thinking of making a module with different names...with all the different criterea that i search by (date ranges),(number ranges) etc etc. and have my switchboard call that module..i just need the module to select all the fields required for the report and ask the ranges i need? is this possible to do? if i can do this it will save a lot of time, space and resources that multiple reports use. I also can convert the queries i run to a protected module so that no one can accidently change something on the query..

Thanks, PAUL

Hi Paul,
I use a technique with a single form, but having the ability to call different reports. I do this by having a list box filled with the various report names. Using the AfterUpdate event for the list box, I set the enabled and visible properties for the correct criteria elements. ANYWAY, I have this inside a free database I created. Just send me an email, and I will be glad to send you my sample database. It is 2.1MB in zipped format, and includes a homemade login screen, homemade menu system, and lots of other useful techniques.
