Can anyone recommend some good reference material for a beginner using CSS?!
I'm comfortable using dreamweaver & <cringe mode>frontpage</cringe mode> to create basic html table layouts, but need to learn CSS for an upcoming project.

Thanks :)

Any O'Reilly book is a safe bet for a pure reference book.

But they tend not to cover the day to day nuances we find when actually USING CSS.

Eric Meyer has produced a few good books too. Although the one I have is more a "cookbook" for techniques and to be honest I've not found it that useful.

I would also reccomend these, not pure CSS books but it's worth understanding web standards to make the best use of CSS.

Thanks for the info Foamcow :)

I'll take a look at your suggestions. I've been using the macromedia walk throughs to date which are ok, but some of the info goes right over my head!
