I am looking for the reference library for the Open File GUI interface. I want the user to click a button and search for a file. The file they select will then be imported into an Access table. This is the first time I will work with this library. Thank you for your assistance

ComDlg32.ocx is the file for the ActiveX control named "Microsoft Common Dialog Control" which you can use for File Open, File Save, Show Help, Show Color, etc.

If you're coding an Access database you won't have this control unless you have the Developer's Edition. In that case you'll have to use the API and code it by hand, however there are plenty of examples on this site and others that show how to do it. VBSlammer
